You only added mention about the latter.
Of course, attacking a stack with exactly the same leadership would be a very rare thing, but still.Quaranyrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13563621496147736585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3656428975201272042.post-43001962732802532572022-06-30T03:53:09.413-07:002022-06-30T03:53:09.413-07:00Updated the post appropriately. A bit less impressed with Halve now that I know how narrow the range it can trigger in actually is.

That is an interesting bit of development archaeology. I'd always found it a little unusual how they were an Executioner with an Execution Talent; this fits to the idea that 'always do something extra on kill' was part of their identity in development, and only later got restricted to the Talent, without their unit name being adjusted.Ghoul Kinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15165232279081041131noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3656428975201272042.post-25581777674159495062022-06-29T10:34:05.161-07:002022-06-29T10:34:05.161-07:00Demon's Domination is still a special attack. ...Demon's Domination is still a special attack. It's new damage is 28-35.

Cerberus' Leap! deals fixed 12 damage. It's close to but not exactly "a regular Physical attack".

About Archdemon's Halve - the latter of your 2 theories is correct - the game always rolls for Halve, but will ignore it if normal attack will deal more damage. In addition, after the roll but before checking normal attack the game also compares leadership of Archdemons and their target. If it's equal or target's is higher, Halve won't be triggered.
In other words, Halve can only trigger on stacks of lower leadership than Archdemons.

Executioner's Domination special attack deals 32-34 damage.
As you can see, against level 1-3 creatures Execution is not that much of a damage boost (about +14% on average). Against level 4-5 it's essentially +50%.
Panic from witnessing Execution lasts for the same 2 turns as the INI debuff. Well, it may already be impled by your text, but it wasn't clear to me.

This comment looks too short, so let's add something here:
I don't know if such things interesting for you, but Execution is coded not the way I imagined it. It's actually 2 diffrent things:
1)The damage-dealing talent we see in-game. Only, it doesn't actually have any debuffs (or anything special at all) in it - it just deals higher damage and that's is.
2)Hidden ability that applies INI debuff and chance of panic on enemies when Executioner kills someone. Will trigger only if the kill was made using Execution talent.
My first thought was that the original plan was to apply both debuffs upon every kill Executioner makes. Than devs decided it to be OP and limited it by a special talent.
Alternatively, parameter block kinda hints that it could be like this: Execution-the-Talent deales incresed damage and had a chance to make enemies afraid. Execution-the-ability applied INI debuff each time Executioner kills someone. Than devs just moved fear to the ability as well and limited it by the talent kills.Quaranyrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13563621496147736585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3656428975201272042.post-88989124418153521662022-05-22T06:50:40.298-07:002022-05-22T06:50:40.298-07:00Whoops, I really should've noticed the Demon d...Whoops, I really should've noticed the Demon damage thing on my own, given their damage isn't fixed like a Guard Droid. Correcting.

Similarly corrected the Imp/Scoffer Imp Health commentary. I... don't know how I got the Scoffer Imp bit so badly wrong...

Leap! is not a standard trained dog instruction, no. I can sort of see why the exclamation point is in there in this context -when commands for trained animals are rendered in text format, they usually get an exclamation point, for whatever reason- but it doesn't remotely communicate 'this is what you'd say when telling your trained dog to attack'. That's unfortunate... the 'command to a trained animal' angle fits in very well with the larger thing of demon NPCs behaving like Regular Modern Folks, where a Cerberus is just a guard dog, but for Demons. Leap! always came across to me as an out-of-place bit of... attempted comedy, I guess? I'm not sure why it wasn't translated as Sic 'Em! Or Sic Em, Boy! One of those would've captured the idea readily enough.Ghoul Kinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15165232279081041131noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3656428975201272042.post-75312396134434168032022-05-22T05:35:05.840-07:002022-05-22T05:35:05.840-07:00Demon-the-unit have maximum damage of 27, not 21. ...Demon-the-unit have maximum damage of 27, not 21.
I don't remember if I already said it, but in Russian Bloody Pentagram tells about being allied demon-only.

Leap! - in Russian this talent called after the standard command for a trained dog to attack.
