This was a surprisingly straightforward mission. It helps that my purchases are starting to catch up to the difficulty curve, but there's also just not any ridiculous shenanigans with defending civilians or anything, and the mission is just... a map you kill things on. Even having a good number of Mutons isn't really an issue.
