Site Notice: Preservation Plans
I seem unlikely to ever be able to reclaim my Ghoul King Google account given Google's policies, which means that account will presumably be considered inactive by Google's automated processes and in turn deleted. I also cannot find a clear explanation of what this automatic deletion will do to existing posts credited to that account, and so am assuming the worst. (ie "those posts will all be deleted without warning")
I'm mentioning this in a site notice because Blogger, aggravatingly, has no smooth system for changing post 'ownership'; if I am to preserve old posts, I'll have to literally re-post them under this account. For the moment, I'm focusing on transferring drafts in this way, where it won't affect the user-end of the experience, but if I do indeed remain locked out of my Ghoul King account I will at some point start the reposting process, which I'm sure will be annoying for everyone. So I wanted to provide a heads-up that this is likely to happen eventually.
I'd still rather just get control of my account back, of course, but given Google's track record I'm absolutely not going to bet on that happening.
