AM2R Random Fusion Run 3

In which I get a nice suite of early mobility powers.

I also have the alternate Speed Booster running animation turned on -it's off by default in 1.4, where it was on by default in 1.3- and show off 'random item colors'. It's really easy to overlook, but it randomizes the colors of the item balls Chozo statues can hold. It's kind of neat, though an odd feature to incorporate.

I could totally have ignored the Torizo since I had Space Jump, but honestly using Space Jump without High Jump is surprisingly tortuous, requiring relatively precise timing to actually keep gaining height and requiring you to press the button often enough it just gets tedious. High Jump is also actually a big improvement in my ability to take on Alpha Metroids and to a lesser extent Gamma, as the High Jump not only has you jump higher but has you jump faster, and between the two it's just a lot easier to eg get over an Alpha instead of slamming my face into it, and a lot easier to bait it into flying high enough to make it easier to land a shot on its belly. So High Jump isn't really necessary for anything in a randomized run, but it's a surprisingly huge improvement to playability in a number of realms regardless.

I ended up showing off the under-2-hours ending screen, in part because I didn't know if 1.4 had done anything to change that. Looks like the answer is 'no'.

I keep meaning to mention this, but it really bothers me how the unofficial patches ruin the flow at the end of the credits and whatnot, because they've extended the credits but haven't modified the scroll speed or anything, so instead of the music doing its build up to the transition to your ending screen it finishes up completely just about as that transition starts.

You can also see that I'm getting a lot smoother overall, spending less time obsessively saving/healing now that I have a pretty decent grasp of what I can get away with in Fusion Mode.
