Risk of Rain Glass Enforcer

Glass' description is misleading. Your base HP is 10% of normal, but your level gains are actually something like 60% of normal, so while you're incredibly fragile at the beginning of the game the gap reduces quite rapidly.

Meanwhile, yes, your base damage not only at level 1 but at all further levels is 5 times normal. This means you're more lethal with your core attacks and with all items that do damage. Glass runs can have fairly hilarious effects with eg the Ceremonial Dagger spawning projectiles that effortlessly kill more enemies to spawn more projectiles and so on.

Glass is by far my favorite Artifact, as it dramatically speeds up the game. It's also one of the few Artifacts that really has trade-offs; several Artifacts really just make the game harder or make the game easier, no nuance to them. In overall terms Glass does tend to make runs easier, but you have to play very differently due to how easily enemies can kill you if you just hang around and let them hit you.

I went with the Enforcer in part because you'd expect him to go poorly with Glass and... well, that's kind of true, in that you might have noticed I didn't use Protect and Serve much at all in the run, but the Enforcer doesn't find Glass unbearable. There's other classes that probably appreciate it more, but the Enforcer still serves as a good illustration of what Glass is like.

Honestly, I tend to feel like Glass is the 'correct' way to play the game. It's really just way more fun than having Glass off, all-around, and I feel most class balance evens up with it on.
