Risk of Rain UO Bandit

The Bandit, unsurprisingly, didn't take nearly as many attempts to get a successful Unlocking Origin run as the Commando... but he still needed a lot of attempts. In fact, the Bandit actually struggles more with swarmy groups so long as Full Metal Jacket isn't blocked -the Commando can one-shot an arbitrary number of Lemurians on the first level once he's gained a couple levels, whereas Toss Dynamite's strike zone is quite limited.

However, the Bandit makes up for it with more firepower, superior ability to navigate through problematic situations using Smokebomb, and Toss Dynamite allowing him to strike at odd angles and even kill enemies through thin walls. This allows the Bandit to keep dishing out damage even in tricky situations, which in turn means he's less likely to end up with an unmanageable situation that's actively getting worse. Smokebomb is also probably the best ability in the game for avoiding dying to overwhelming numbers of Spite Bombs, thanks to its long duration and complete control over your movement.

Just... don't rely exclusively on it.
